Michael McIntyre's Big Show

For Season 6 of Michael McIntyre’s Big Show, I hand-painted the Snowman (“Walking in the Air”) scenic element, faithfully replicating the bittersweet style of the original cartoon by Raymond Briggs. It was an honour to recreate his iconic imagery—carefully matching the soft textures, gentle palette, and emotional warmth of his work. The final piece brought a nostalgic, camera-ready moment to the set while paying respectful tribute to Briggs’ artistry.

Several large paintings of leafless trees are being painted or displayed in an art studio. Art supplies and tools are visible, and a person is working on a project.
A snowman with a brown hat, scarf, and buttons, standing next to a woman with blonde hair in a reddish-brown coat, all on a snowy stage with a starry night backdrop, surrounded by artificial rocks.
A woman and a man are conversing on stage, with the woman holding a microphone. They are both dressed in formal attire, with the woman wearing a brown jacket and pants and the man wearing a dark suit with a red tie. The background depicts a winter scene with snow, pine trees, and a log cabin, and there is colorful confetti on the floor.
